Gripping Situation

There are many ways to hang a boat fender: clips, holders, brackets and of course, tying them to the bow rail. All of these methods work... problem is most of them don't allow for easy adjustment. New World Marine has a new plastic gizmo called Fendergrip® that lets you adjust your fender's height at the touch of a button. I used the Fendergrip® for a few months [now] and believe me, it gets the job done.

You can install the Fendergrip® faster than you can tie a bowline; the clasp hooks onto a cleat, bowrail, grabrail or anything you can attach a line to. I used it quite often for rafting with other boats. Designed to be used with 3/8" to 1/2" lines, the Fendergrip® contains UV inhibitors, so leaving it out in the sun should have little effect....
